The Road – five new stills
Five new stills from The Road emerged online yesterday. No word on the trailer or release date yet.
Winter’s Bone – new project?

More good news for Woodrell [Daniel Woodrell] fans: Winter’s Bone – the movie – is set to be filmed in the Ozarks in the next several weeks, Debra Granik, the writer/director of Down to the Bone, (the film Martin Scorsese saw and said get me that Vera Farmiga woman for The Departed – what is it with this director and “Bone” movies anyhow?), is helming with Deadwood co-stars, Garret Dillahunt and John Hawkes, (as Teardrop) rumored to be involved.
FYI, there are no official sources for this one.
There was a call for extras in January on the casting company’s page, but there is no mention of any of the leading cast and the film has yet to be listed on most big sites. It has a page on Hollywood.com. The production is supposed to start some time in February.
No Country for Old Men – new DVD & Blu-ray release
No Country for Old Men will be re-released on DVD and Blu-ray on April 7. Both releases will have two-disc collector’s edition sets with new special features.

The Last House on the Left gets a release date
The Last House on the Left will be released on Friday, March 13.
Rogue Pictures’ The Last House on the Left is set for release on March 13th. The trailer, which premiered last week, was attached to a print of the 10pm screening of My Bloody Valentine 3D last night and received a fairly positive reaction from the crowd who responded to the preview’s “microwave gag.” [ShockTillYouDrop.com]
