Winter’s Bone wins two Spirit Awards, screenplay available online

Winter’s Bone won two Spirit Awards yesterday, for Best Supporting Male (John Hawkes) and Best Supporting Female (Dale Dickey). Black Swan and The King’s Speech won Best Feature and Best Foreign Film. The full list of winners is here.

Winter’s Bone scores four Oscar nominations

The Academy announced this year’s Oscar nominees today and Winter’s Bone nabbed four nominations: best picture, best adapted screenplay, best leading actress, and best supporting actor. Congratulations to all!

Winter’s Bone gets National Board of Review nod, wins four awards at Torino Film Festival

After Stockholm, the Gotham Awards and Independent Spirit nominations earlier this week, Winter’s Bone was included among the Top 10 Films of 2010 by the National Board of Review (Jennifer Lawrence also got an award for Breakthrough Performance) and then it won four prizes at the Torino Film Festival.

Over the weekend, it bagged the Bronze Horse for Best Film, the FIPRESCI prize, and Best Actress award at the Stockholm International Film Festival (link).
