Winter’s Bone leads nominations for Independent Spirit Awards

The nominations for the Independent Spirit Awards were announced earlier today and Winter’s Bone scored seven: Best Feature, Best Director (Debra Granik), Best Screenplay (Debra Granik & Anne Rosellini), Best Female Lead (Jennifer Lawrence), Best Supporting Female (Dale Dickey), Best Supporting Male (John Hawkes), and Best Cinematography (Michael McDonough).

The Independent Spirit Awards will be held on February 26 in Santa Monica.
