Garret’s first episode of The Gifted airs tonight at 9 pm on FOX. Here is the synopsis and the season promo:

CAITLIN AND ECLIPSE TEAM UP TO TRY AND HELP BLINK ON AN ALL-NEW “THE GIFTED” MONDAY, OCTOBER 9, ON FOX

After exerting her powers beyond their limits, Blink (Jamie Chung, “Big Hero 6,” “The Hangover Part II”) goes into a state of shock, forcing Caitlin (Amy Acker, “Person of Interest”) and Eclipse (Sean Teale, “Survivor”) to go on a mission to find a special serum that will help her to recover. Meanwhile, Reed (Stephen Moyer, “True Blood,” SHOTS FIRED) faces some difficult choices when it comes to helping his family, and Polaris (Emma Dumont, “Bunheads,” “Aquarius”) runs into some trouble in the all-new “rX” episode of THE GIFTED airing Monday, Oct. 9 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. And Netflix has released the official trailer for Wheelman, which will be available on Oct. 20:

The Gifted premieres tonight

You can catch the series premiere of The Gifted tonight at 9 ET/PT on FOX. Garret isn’t in tonight’s episode, but will show up in the next one and a few more after that. FOX has released the first pic:

Elsewhere, TBS has announced that The Guest Book will misbehave for another season. More guests will be checking into Black Mirror lodge some time next year, hopefully sooner rather than later.

New TV show: The Gifted

Garret will have a recurring role in The Gifted, a new FOX/Marvel show set in the X-Men universe. Deadline writes:

The series from writer Matt Nix and X-Men director Bryan Singer focuses on a suburban couple (Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker) whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

Dillahunt will play Roderick Campbell, a mutant researcher contracted by the Sentinel Services. Professorial, intense and intimidating, Dr. Campbell has a morally dubious mission yet to be revealed.

The show premieres on Monday, October 2 at 9/8c on Fox. Here is the trailer:
