The 4400 is a science fiction show created by Scott Peters and René Echevarria that aired on USA Network from July 11, 2004 to September 16, 2007.
The show begins with a glowing ball of light, originally thought to be a comet, arriving to Earth and leaving 4400 people at Highland Beach, near Mount Rainier, Washington. None of the 4400 remember how they got there, but it is revealed that each of them had disappeared at various times since 1946 in a beam of white light and none of them have aged at all since. Upon returning, some of the 4400 begin to manifest paranormal abilities.
A division of Homeland Security – the National Threat Assessment Command (NTAC) – is put in charge of dealing with the returnees, with Tom Baldwin (Joel Gretsch) and Diana Skouris (Jacqueline McKenzie) as primary agents assigned to investigate individual 4400 cases.
SYNOPSIS:
As the reappearance of 4,400 missing persons on a single day confounds the global community, federal agents on the case slowly discover the ways in which the victims have been changed.
