  2. Mr. Dillahunt,

I’m also from Yakima, Wa. and I am a big fan. I have an assignment for Full Sail University coming up and I was hoping you could help me if you have the time. For the assignment I am supposed to interview someone from the entertainment business. It would be a short interview and I would really appreciate it. Please let me know if this might be a possibility. You can contact me at rufwingate@live.com.

    Thank You
    Ryan Wingate

  3. Hey, man. I just wanted to say that while I’ve seen a lot of your work, I have to say your performance as Roman Nevikof on “Life” was absolutely brilliant. Seriously, you were scary as hell.

  4. I have a weird question for you. Why is it that in most of the rolls you play you always end up dying. X-Files, Looper, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Last House on the Left, etc….

  5. Garret, You were really awesome in The assassination of jesse james, but I cannot find a trailer with the scene of Brad stopping by to see you. The dialog in that scene was quiet and excellent. It was a very good scene at that particular time in the movie.
Can someone email it to me? I can’t believe I couldn’t find it on you tube or this site. Thank you and again you were fun to watch at the campout about the Indian woman dialog… lol…Also, the way you told jesse not to shoot the train conductor. good job

  6. Garret, You were really awesome in The Last House on the Left of Krug, his black beard and hair that’s amazing! You were brilliant actor and sexy his shirtless…<3

  7. I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am for the many hours of entertainment you provided me with.
You are a brillliant actor, able to play almost every role I could possibly imagine.
For me you are one of the great actors of our time.

    Best wishes

    Long live Burt Chance!

  11. Hey Garret,
Remember me from Grad school, you came to our wedding, etc,? Would love to get back in touch with you somehow…..we have two kids, ages 12and 14… We are in Tennessee which is a freak out, but many things are …happening. I doubt you will get this, but… If you do, get in touch!

  12. In your youth, did you ever film a Beachbody infomercial? I could swear it was you on an old Power 90 dvd that I have?

  13. Hey there I need to ask a great favor please may you ask Matt passmore to contact me on twitter as I need to ask him if he may spnsor me as my family is not well off with money and I have been given A chance to go to Poland with my choir but I do not have nearly enough money to go with .please may you ask and thank you

  14. Happy 50th Birthday, Garret! May you have 50 more turns around the sun healthy and happy. I like that you now have a balanced career with drama and comedy (you nailed the part of Burt on Raising Hope). Excellent range. Keep up the good work.

  15. My husband and I started watching Raising Hope on netflix and I just have to say… We laugh with every episode. You and Martha played so well off of each other. We just finished the episode where you made homage to all of the gangster movies. We laughed so hard that we have to watch it again. Looking forward to checking out your other work.

  16. I know that garret most likely will not see this comment but I just wanted to say that I think he is an extremely talented actor. I honestly did not know a lot about him until I started watching raising hope on Netflix and I think it sucks they cancelled the show after four seasons I love the show and was pissed off when I learned they cancelled it. I felt that the show represented how many families are in today’s society and watching Raising Hope gave life like that a certain comedic look into many of Americas family dynamic. And it was just fun to watch, and I feel that garret playing Burt and his counter part virgina made the show. I’ve recently began to delve into his extensive and impressive career I had no idea that he had such a large career history but even had I never learned of his career pasts I would still be impressed with his gifted ability as an actor. He is so incredibly talented and to watch him in motion is a true joy he has made me laugh at times I should of been in tears. I’m a 27 year old widowed mother of two and though I love to watch raising hope it also makes me reminisce on the times when my husband was still alive and how much we related to the tv show as a family. So many of the shows pulled at my heart for whatever reason Garret’s comedic sensibilities as his role as Burt brought joy to my heart at times I literally wanted to cry.ive had many actors that I liked to watch but none I ever cared about enough to write them and just let them know how much I truely enjoyed. So thank you for all of your hard work and for sharing your awesome talents with the rest of us.

  17. you did such a great job portraying Thomas Montgomery, i just did an extensive 40 page interview with him from inside Attica – great job

  18. Very versatile actor! I thought you did an unbelievable job in Deadwood! You also should your full range in Raising Hope. What kind of roles would you like to portray in the future?

  19. Hey Garret: I saw your Twitter (not a Twitter user myself) feed as part of an article about a possible HBO/Deadwood feature-length film recently. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for this as I was a huge fan of the show when it originally aired, and I have re-watched the series two or three times in the meantime. So here’s my comment/question: Since Jack McCall and Francis Walcott probably won’t make appearances in an upcoming feature film, are you hopeful that David Milch will offer you a role for the 3rd time in the show, for as-yet-to-be-named character? Here’s hoping so!

  20. Did Garrett Dillahunt play the guard at the front gate in the movie “In Pursuit of Honor?”

  21. Hi, Big fan, been watching you since ‘Deadwood’. I’m suggesting you for a role that I hear is coming up. They are going to make a movie out of the life of the great singer, Glen Campbell, and I believe you would be perfect for the part! Let me know if I can do anything… I don’t know, I could write a recommendation if it would help!

    Best wishes, Jim

  22. Hi Garrett
Mindy Project – Your character and your playing of that character … THE BEST I think any person COULD do!! WONDERFUL. All great actors but YOU and male nurse MAKE SHOW.
Having said that … watching episode yesterday where “DANNY” says you are so old. I started laughing. My husband too!! Having not known your age before hand … both of us thought you and Danny were same age and argued it!! LOL Until we found out Danny was younger. WOW!! You LOOK GREAT. We thought you were in early to mid 40s MAX. Though Danny was there or bit older!! Thanks for all the great entertainment!!! You ROCK.

  23. Hi Garrett –
We are with the same Mgt. Co – I was commissioned to write a pilot about a savant Lifer inmate who cooks last meals for prisoners on death row. Takes place under Gov G.W.Bush (1995+) Texas. It’s called STIR and it’s sitting at D2 now. Some networks are saying “Its too dark” – But what is darker than these times? Jesus.
Your work in Hand of God inspired me to reach out, any way I can (like this website) and say I really want you to star in this. You are this guy. We just have to get it to the right people. Just reached out to Kurt Sutter.

  24. Garret,
    From Coeur D’Alene, Idaho –
Loved you in Raising Hope – Can’t Stop Laughing. If Your Ever back in the Great White North would love to Interview you for Local Paper.

  25. Hey, Never do this kind of stuff. For shame; never even rate products on my Amazon Prime.
I have not witnessed you in any other venue. Nor am I a fan of man-made celeb PR having been in the business, Regardless, I enjoy you, Garret Dillahunt. You rock the character in ‘Hand of God.’
Thanks. Enjoying your work above all.
    -Melissa

  26. My daughter and I would love for you to attend Fanexpo Canada 2019. Your character on Fear has become a great male role model for her. I am a single mom. She is 16 and adores your character.
We wish you could have your own spin off.
You have connected with her on instagram and she’s been so thrilled. We’d love to have you at Fanexpo. Nobody from FTWD has come.

  27. Hi garret,I’m a huge fan,i love you so much,I’m from Brazil and I come here to ask if you can follow me on Twitter, pls my @ is @floorlarrys504,love you,bye bye sweet

  28. Hello. I also grew up in Selah, and currently live there. When was the last time you had a Kings Row burger and shake? You should come back and visit during community days. Burgers on me.?

  29. No questions, I am simply impressed at the breadth and variation in the myriad of characters Garret has played.
Most of today’s actors appear to be cast to a type. In other roles, they seem to be acting. G.D. is natural and believable in all roles I have seen him in.
I do not do the fan thing. I am unable to admire a person I do not know. I can, however, respect and admire talent which is what I am doing in this comment. TY
