The second trailer for The Road showed up on Yahoo! Movies today.
The Road got a special mention from the London Film Festival jury at the awards ceremony on Wednesday. The award for best film went to Jacques Audiard’s “A Prophet.”

The official site for the film has finally been updated with cast and crew bios, production notes, pictures and other stuff. They even launched a game, Survive the Road.
The film will next be screened at the Night Visions festival in Helsinki (Oct. 31, 11.15PM) and at the AFI Fest in Los Angeles (Graumann’s Chinese Theater, Nov. 4 at 7PM). The U.S. release date is still November 25.
The final poster for The Road has appeared online today. The film opens on November 25.

First, a reminder that Law & Order: SVU 11×05, “Hardwired,” airs tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9/8c on NBC. The previews are here. Garret plays the head of a pedophilia organization and hopefully neither of the two people with ER credits to their name (Mariska Hargitay, Joel de la Fuente) will get to shoot him this time.

Fans can vote in 31 categories, including Favorite Movie, Favorite TV Obsession and Favorite Breakout Artist. The top five nominees in each category will be announced on Nov. 10, at the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills during the annual People’s Choice Awards press conference.
Nominee voting will also take place on MySpace where fans can share content and converse about the awards on the official People’s Choice Awards profile at www.myspace.com/peopleschoiceawards.
