Baryo went into pre-production in November. The team is already on location in the Philippines. They set up a blog, The Baryo Film Project, so that’s the place to look for updates. Filming doesn’t start till February.

The Hollywood Reporter had a brief announcement about Garret joining Keep Hope Alive the other day.

Garret Dillahunt has landed a co-starring role on Greg Garcia’s comedy pilot for Fox, “Keep Hope Alive.”

The show centers on Jimmy (Lucas Neff), a 25-year-old man raising an infant with the help of his quirky family after the mother of the baby, with whom he had a one-night stand, ends up on death row.

Dillahunt will play Jimmy’s dysfunctional father and boss, who is not thrilled to find himself a grandfather and worries that the baby might carry her mom’s homicidal gene.

“Hope” marks Dillahunt’s return to Fox, where he co-starred on the drama series “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” He also co-starred on the big screen in “No Country for Old Men.” [via Reuters]

OK, one more. Burn Notice will return a week earlier than originally announced, on Thursday, January 21 at 10/9c. This means that the season three finale will air some time in early March, as expected.

“Flip of the Coin” on Hulu:

White Collar had its series premiere yesterday. Garret’s episode is still a month away, but if you were planning on tuning in earlier, this would be the time. The show is getting pretty good reviews, it is on every Friday at 10 and the pilot is available on USANetwork.com. For the TV schedule and everything else you need to know, go to USA’s site.

Lie to Me episodes 2×02 and 2×03 got switched. (Maureen Ryan has a new interview with Shawn Ryan and Tim Roth and mentions that Garret will appear in episode 3. More at Chicago Tribune.) Unless something changes again, the new air date for the episode is October 12.

Some confusing news:

A new TV credit has appeared on the IMDb for an upcoming episode of Burn Notice, “Dressed to Kill,” which is either episode 3×13 or 3×14 (sources disagree). SpoilerTV has set pics dated August 21, which corresponds with the filming of the season three finale, “Devil You Know,” which is ep 3×16.

The casting call for “Dressed to Kill” doesn’t mention a Simon (Garret’s character, as listed on IMDb), but there is a character with that name mentioned in the casting call for a different character in ep 3×16:

[MANAGEMENT] Male, Caucasian, 45-60 years old, POWERFUL, DANGEROUS AND INTIMIDATING, he works for the person who rigged Michael’s file and burned him years ago. He’s taken aback by Michael’s assertion that Simon (the man who really committed the crimes in Michael’s file) has escaped and is after him and his boss. They agree to Michael’s plan, but threaten to end him if anything goes awry…GUEST STAR. PLEASE SUBMIT ACTORS WITH STRONG CREDITS ONLY.

Here is the plotline:

Michael is forced to team up with the psychotic criminal who actually committed the crimes that Management used to burn Michael.

So either the IMDb has the wrong episode or it’s a recurring role. More likely, IMDb messed up and Garret shows up only in 3×16.
