Fox hasn’t made a decision to renew The Sarah Connor Chronicles yet and will not be making any announcements either way until May 18, when they announce their full schedule for the fall. The ratings are not looking good and the fate of the show will be decided in the coming weeks, so this would be the right time to let Fox know how much you enjoy it and why. You can send letters, cards and emails to these addresses:

There are several other ongoing fan campaigns out there at the moment.
Hadley at the official Terminator blog is encouraging fans to vote in the Save One Show poll at EOnline.com.
The admins at the Sarah Connor Society admins say this:
Fox is looking at ALL the numbers. They are looking at Nielsens, DVR, Live Plus DVR, HULU, and Fox Online. They also pay attention to sales on ITunes and Amazon. As far as I know Fox is not going to make any kind of decision on a S3 22 or 13 Episode renewal until the DVR numbers come in for Born to Run.
So what you can do (if you’re in the U.S. or use U.S. proxies) is watch T:SCC on Fox on Demand or Hulu, get episodes on iTunes and Amazon’s Video on Demand, and sign up for the season two DVDs on Amazon.
Fans at the Terminator Wiki have also launched a social media campaign so if you have an account on any major social media sites – Digg, Reddit, Mixx – you can submit and vote for any Terminator-related articles or reviews you come across. With Digg, it’s pretty easy to do a search of all the recent articles once or twice a day and vote for them on the site.
Finally, if you have a blog or a profile page on a social networking site, you can post the links to the video-on-demand sites and the fan campaign info to help spread the word.

I’ve sent a few emails and I keep voting, but if the finale is anything to go by, season three will be written for shippers and Manson fanboys. For the record, I hated it. Adam Raised a Cain was a great episode. They should have left it at that. It’s not like they answered any burning questions, they just tried very hard to jump the shark with all the Weaver nonsense. Nice ending, though.
Thanks for the links. I was disappointed by the big twists in the last episode so hopefully they get a chance to fix what they screwed up next season.
And here I thought everyone loved the finale except me.
They just skipped from act one to teaser for season three without resolving or answering anything. Where was the basement scene? Why was Cameron sent back? Why would machines fight Skynet at all if they weren’t scrubbed? There weren’t even any clues to give us a hint this season.
And why spend so much time setting up John Henry as a big player only to make him and his personality completely disposable? And who is he supposed to be next season, some kind of cross between JH and Cameron? Will someone tell Josh Friedman to at least give a character a decent arc before doing something this stupid?
Obviously, I still hope they’ll get a third season, but yeah, this just felt like cheating for the hell of it and it sucked.
The finale rocked! I was hoping for a different kind of confrontation between Sarah and Weaverbot and it would have been nice to see where John Henry went, but the episode itself was great! Can’t wait to see what character Garret plays next! Do you think it could be Cameron? That would be a blast!
Thanks for the links. I’ve sent my emails, hope everyone else does the same. All these unconfirmed cancellation “news” are seriously pissing me off and I want to see the Ausiellos of the world eat their words when the show gets picked up again.
@queeg: I don’t know what to think about his exchange with Cameron in the finale, but if he ends up playing anyone other than John Henry when the show returns, I will be very unhappy. JH is the best character on the show. He deserves better than to just disappear into someone else’s chip, mission or storyline. I really hope that’s not where they were going with this.
I’m still bitter about Born to Run.
